The Darmstadt- Dieburg public transport system- the DADINA, is a special purpose association of the district Darmstadt- Dieburg and the city of Darmstadt. It was founded to organize th public transport network in Darmstadt and its surrounding area. The local railway sytem is run by the Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) and the VIAS, the Oldenwald Railway Company. Buses are run by the HEAG mobiBus, the RKH (local transport system Kurhessen) and six private bus companies together. The tram system in Darmstadt and the Darmstadt area is run by the HEAG mobilo.
