The local swimming pool in Bessungen was opened in 1997 and can be found in the Bessungen quarter near the Orangery. If you're looking for a place to relax or work on your fitness, this is the spot. Regular courses in aquajogging or water gymnastics are held here. Of course, the children (from 6 years on) are not only taught to swim here but, once a week, there's a fun ‘n' games afternoon session for the little ones. If you like to have a swim before breakfast, you can start your lengths as early as 6.30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Water temperatures 26- 28 degrees C., learners' pool 28- 29 degrees C. Every Wednesday is warm water day, pool temperature 30 degree C.
