Pilhuhn

Rieger Square is often under- estimated, just like the Pillhuhn. But this bustling square is certainly worth a visit, it's the home of 3Klang, the Sport- Lokales and the Pillhuhn, a constant in the jeu de boules and bar scene in Darmstadt. This is the home of many a Darmstadt original, a place to enjoy a beer, play kicker or just hang out with friends. It's a typical cosy neighbourhood pub. A place to get to know the natives and that is often a wonderful experience. It's also a place where it's perfectly acceptable to order a packet of tobacco with your beer.
