The best thing since the invention of bistros, that's what Monika and Manfred Müller have achieved in Darmstadt. The firm of Müller & Müller's run not only a delicatessen and wine business, but also this bistro in the Mühlstrasse with its sophisticated traditional Hessian food with a strong vegetarian touch and a Mediterranean flair. A word of warning – the bistro itself is only open during the day for lunch (they keep to the shop's opening hours) except on Friday evening with a set meal. We recommend the very light spinach lasagne or a turkey breat salad, or perhaps something more hearty like Nuremberg sausgaes, cod in mustard sauce or a bio- dynamic entrecote. Come to lunch early – this bistro is immensely popular!
