Darmstadt is the cradle of running and therefore a must- do for every serious marathon runner. The Sparkasse Darmstadt will be celebrating its 200th anniversary with the 1st Darmstadt Marathon. The starting shot is on the 6th of September 2008 at 8.30 a.m. The organizers forecast more than 5 thousand participants. You can take part in the full marathon or go half the distance.
