Darmstadt's lost property office can be found in the city hall 1, room 301. All lost property collected in the city is kept here for up to 6 months. The local newspaper “Darmstädter Echo” issues a list of lost property handed in here. The lost property is handed out to its legitimate) owner (legitimation necessary!) or, if not claimed within six months, given back to the finder. The lost property also tries to find, if possible, the legitimate owners of lost property.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 7.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. Wednesdays 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. in addition.
