The Schlossgarten Café, known to many a Darmstadter as the Black and White Café, lies in the heart of the Martins Quarter. Because of its proximity to the university, it's very popular with students but you will meet all sorts here. The café, with its puristic décor offers a very good breakfast and a daily menu. The front part of the café is reserved for non- smokers only. The restaurant closes at 7 p.m.
