Kunstarchiv

The Kunst Archiv Darmstadt was founded by a circle of committed art lovers in 1984 as the „Archiv Darmstädter Künstler”. It now has about 380 members and has established itself in the Darmstadt cultural scene. The Kunst Archiv Darmstadt archives the life and work of artists in the Dokumentationsstelle Bildender Kunst. Not only those artists and works already known, but also contemporary works. The association is run by volunteers and is especially active in organizing events of all sorts, for example, visits to museums and artists' studios, lectures, conducted tours, not only for members but for every art- lover.
