The railway museum has existed for over 30 years in the former Darmstadt- Kranichstein depot. This small but valuable museum is run and constantly expanded by enthusiastic volunteers. Locomotives, carriages, rolling stock and other historical railway exhibits are shown in true to original surroundings. The steam engines are stoked up during regular steam engine festivals.
Sundays 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Between April and October also every Wednesday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
